FIXING THE TOE CLIPS TO YOUR PEDALS
The method for attaching our toe clips (notched screw nut) is based on the market standard.To mount them on your bike, you'll need to remove one reflector from each pedal to leave 2 holes free.On our recreational mountain bikes (ST 50100, ST 120), the pedals do not have fixing holes: you will need to change your pedals.The compatible pedals available in our stores and on our website are: 100 resin mountain bike pedals, 500 alu mountain bike pedals and 520 grip mountain bike pedals.
SHOE COMPATIBILITY
The width of the opening in the plastic shell and the length of the toe clip straps means they are compatible with most flat shoes or sports shoes on the market.An overly thick or rigid sole, with lugs or with a large instep could make insertion difficult if not impossible.
ADJUSTING THE BELT/STRAPS
After tightening the strap, there may be a loose bit. You can tuck this into the hole on the side of the clip (below the buckle).You can also cut it and then briefly singe the cut end with a lighter to stop it fraying.

We designed these toe clips at the B'Twin Village in Lille, France. We came up with the idea of these innovative toe clips by observing you and asking you what you needed. Our toe clips let you instantly get your foot out in emergencies, while guaranteeing the same pedalling efficiency as a classic toe clip.

An overly thick or rigid sole, with lugs or with a large instep could make insertion difficult if not impossible.When wearing large shoes (hiking boots, high shoes, boots),rigid MTB shoes with large lugs,instead of flat shoes or sport shoes,or if you have large feet,we recommend trying these out in store before purchase.
